Davor Svetinovic speaks at the ADIA Lab Symposium 2026

Davor Svetinovic presented planned research on agentic AI and autonomous finance at the ADIA Lab Symposium in Abu Dhabi on 28 October 2026.

Davor Svetinovic had the opportunity to return as a speaker at the ADIA Lab Symposium on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, the symposium brought together researchers and practitioners in AI, data science, and engineering, with Nobel Prize and Turing Award laureates among its speakers.

His presentation outlined target contributions for a new project with Alex “Sandy” Pentland, Alexander Lipton, and Massimo Morini, with a particular focus on contributing to the UAE and Abu Dhabi financial sector and its initiatives.

The slide shared with his announcement sets out four planned contributions to autonomous finance: making human likeness a testable claim, measuring the trade-offs of safe autonomy, calibrating trust in protocols through evidence, and examining why individually loyal agents may not produce collective stability. These are research objectives, rather than completed results.

Svetinovic thanked Horst Simon for the invitation and for continuing to organise the symposium.
